ALEXANDRIA --Margaret Irene (Babb) Kinderman, 61, Alexandria, died Nov. 12, 2008, at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 12, 1947, in Anderson, and was a lifelong area resident.
She had been employed part-time at Pay Less Super Market for 12 years.
She was a 1966 graduate of Daleville High School and attended East Side Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, garage sales, decorating, and four wheeling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Roger Kinderman, whom she married Jan. 8, 1971; three children, Lisa Lee (Ted) Miller of Anderson, Troy Allen (Tammy) Moore of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Eric Lewis Kinderman of Alexandria; stepson, Dennis Kinderman of Jim Falls, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Tyler Purciful, Kameron Purciful, T.J. Moore, Stephen Moore, Casey Kinderman, Hannah Brown and Dustin Kinderman; four brothers and sisters, Jeffrey (Linda) Babb and Beth (Ronnie) Richman, all of Anderson, Michael "Moorzie" Moore and Brian (Renee) Moore, all of Daleville; stepbrother, Jerry Moore of Anderson; two stepsisters, Jeannie Stanley of Chesterfield, and Kathi Stimson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Watina Marie (Hamilton) Babb Moore; her father, Richard Thomas Babb; two brothers, Stephen Babb and Charles Richard Babb; and a great-nephew, Nathan Gray.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at East Side Church of God with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating. Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of Madison County.
Arrangements are being handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
