Gwendolyn Rae Kirch, age 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on June 14, 2022. She was born November 6, 1948 to James and Ruth Stuart. Gwendolyn retired from St. Pius X Catholic Church where she taught music for almost 20 years. She previously taught music at St. Philip Neri, St. Joan of Arc, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Simon. She was a graduate of Ball State University where she went on to obtain her Master's in Music Education. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Gwendolyn was a volunteer at the Children's Bureau and the Fatima Retreat House.

Gwendolyn is survived by her sons, Andrew D. Kirch and Thomas J. (Lia) Kirch; grandsons, Tyler J. Kirch and Konner D. Kirch; sisters-in-law, Alma Holloran and Cindy Kirch; and nephews and cousins. Gwendolyn is preceded in death by her husband, David M. Kirch.

A visitation for Gwendolyn will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. The Mass will be livestreamed through the St. Pius X website and Facebook page.

Gwendolyn will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
