EARL GRIFFITH, JR., pharmacist

Mr. Earl N. Griffith, Jr., 59, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at The Paulk Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Steve Waldorf officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 tonight.
Mr. Griffith was born in Kokomo, Ind., on September 2, 1947, to Earl Newell Griffith, now of Fitzgerald and the late Alice Mize Griffith.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War era, he was trained as a Korean interpreter. He was a pharmacist and a member of Central United Methodist Church. He moved here from Chicago, Ill., in 1997.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include: brothers, Col. James Ray "Jim" Griffith of Germany and George Lee Griffith of Greensburg, Ind., and sisters, Jessica Lynn Davenport of Fitzgerald and Genie Higgins of Raleigh. N.C.
