INDIANAPOLIS — William Earl “Bill” Weaver, 66, of Indianapolis, died at his
residence Nov. 11, 2013, after a lingering illness.
Bill was
born Feb. 12, 1947, in Kokomo to Wiley and Lulu I. (Sargent) Weaver.
He served
in the U.S. Army.
He was a
former town marshal of Frankton and Ingalls and worked for the Marion County
Sheriff’s Department through Securatex for 10 years.
He was a
member of the American Legion and AMVETS.
Survivors
include his daughter, Terri (Stephen) Sawyer of Anderson; brothers, Jesse Weaver
of Anderson and Wayne L. (Edell) Weaver; three grandchildren, Kasey Ritenour,
Kaylie Ritenour and Alijah Sawyer, and several nieces and nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Weaver.
Service
will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, with the Rev.
Courtley Granger of Orestes Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be two
hours before the service.
Burial will
be in East Maplewood Cemetery, with military graveside rites presented by VFW
Post 266 and National Guard Honors.
