LAPEL, Ind. — William Martin “Bill” Moss, 64, Lapel, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at his home.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1948, in Anderson, to Carl and Rosa (Belangee) Moss. He graduated in 1966 from the former Madison Heights High School.

Bill retired from Owens-Brockway Glass after more than 34 years of employment.

He is survived by three children, Lisa (husband, Jason) Scherer of Lapel, Bill McKee and Angie DeLaGarza, both of Alabama; six grandchildren, Teague and Haiden Scherer, Bill McKee, and Mickey, Jesse, and Sandy DeLaGarza; and two sisters, Connie (husband, Mike) Mattingly of Fishers, and Karen (husband, Larry) Swenson of Parker, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel, with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
